Supported Product Categories by Payment Processor

Not all payment processors support the same types of products. Depending on what your store sells, you'll need to use the payment processor that is approved for your product categories. Using the wrong processor for your product type may result in declined transactions, account holds, or termination of your payment processing agreement.

SauceyDirect currently supports the following payment processors, each with their own approved product categories:

Stripe is SauceyDirect's standard payment processor and is the recommended option for most merchants. It supports the following product categories:

If your store primarily sells alcohol, tobacco, snacks, or beverages, Stripe is the right processor for you. It offers the most seamless integration with SauceyDirect, competitive processing rates, and the fastest onboarding experience.

Note: Stripe does not support high-risk product categories. If your store sells products outside the categories listed above, you will need to use a high-risk processor instead.
